Thirteen designers will be showcased in this exciting exhibition providing a visual interpretation of our past exhibitions from 25 years. Over these years the Craft Centre has exhibited thousands of makers from all over the country, working in many diverse mediums. These diverse mediums will be explored in the work of such makers as Rachel Higgins, whose delicately constructed wire animals are brought to life with moving mechanisms. Also working on the theme of animals comes work from Jennie Hale, Jeremy James, Catrin Howell and Alison Blant. These strong interpretations of the animal form have been wonderfully executed by these makers and each adopts a distinctive style from the other.

Striking glass by Ruth Dresman, functional ceramic tableware by Ian Rylatt, mixed media works by Robert Race and wonderfully narrated tin scenes by Lucy Casson highlight the diversity of contemporary craft that the Craft Centre and Design Gallery has seen over the years. Inspirational pieces by Samantha Bryan and figurative pieces by the renowned maker Christy Keeney will be showcased along with the striking work made from paper by Justine Smith, not forgetting the beautiful and breathtaking work made with fine wires by Fiona Morley.
