We'd like to say a huge Thank You!

To each an every one of our visitors, customers, makers, designers, press contacts and supporters THANK YOU for another fantastic year. Without your support we wouldn't be able to continue the work we do here encouraging and supporting British makers, educating visitors with information about the techniques and processes behind the maker’s collections and the maker's themselves and providing a fabulous visitor experience as part of the Leeds cultural scene.

After closing at 1pm on Christmas Eve we will be re-opening from Saturday 2nd January 2016 resuming our normal opening hours (Tue - Sat 10am - 5pm, closed Sundays and Mondays). Many of our current shows will remain in the gallery until the 9th January so don't worry if you've missed anything. You can find out all about our forthcoming exhibitions for 2016 on our website www.craftcentreleeds.co.uk which features our annual showcase of rings, a brand new Ceramic Showcase by talented ceramicist Gin Durham, a new Print Exhibition by Tessa Asquith-Lamb and Mary Gillett and our annual showcase of gifts deemed perfect for Valentine’s/Mother’s Day.

Meanwhile we heard from one of our visitors (it's stories like these which really make the work we do here so worthwhile) who bought two Sarah Saunders sculptures from one of our shows more than a year ago which are now residing in a huge apartment in the city centre in Mainz am Rhein, Germany. They were kind enough to send us a snap of them which really made our day. Thank you to John and Connie for sending that through for us and we're really glad to see how much you're enjoying them.
