sixteen makers who are inspired by the joys of the culinary world and
have a fascination for 'kitchen culture'.

Their
aim is to produce unique creations for presenting or holding edible
items or condiments, multi functional eating tools, serving utensils
and place mats, to encourage a sense of fun towards eating time and
to turn an everyday task into an enjoyable moment.

Many
items will provoke the question, Is it functional or ornamental?
Although some pieces may be innovative in approach or question some of our normal assumptions of what tableware should be and how we use it, all items are designed to be utilitarian combining both decorative and functional qualities with enjoyment and pleasure through use. |
