We're still standing!

As Leeds City Art Gallery undergoes some well needed TLC remaining closed until the Autumn of 2017 it's really important for you to remember that we're still very much OPEN! Especially as we approach the festive season. So if you're on the lookout for an inspired gift for a loved one to leave under the Christmas Tree this year we'll be open Tue - Sat 10am - 5pm throughout November and in December we'll be open every day up to Christmas Eve (Mon - Sat 10am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm and Christmas Eve 10am - 1pm). We'll then be re-opening on Tue 3rd January as we embark on celebrating our 35 year anniversary. As we work behind the scenes planning some serious celebrations to mark this milestone you can catch all the latest news by following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vimeo.

Our current exhibitions include work from the very best of British contemporary jewellery, ceramics, glass, wood, textiles and works in mixed media not to mention stocking fillers, Christmas decorations and Christmas cards. Despite the Art Gallery closure there's still so much to see and do in the area including a visit to the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Museum and Christkindelmarkt - Leeds German Christmas Market not to mention our next door neighbours Visit Leeds who can give you lots of information about what else to see and do in Leeds.
