Join Nat (Upsydaisy Craft) to create a handbuilt mug and discover your creative side today.

Nat from Upsydaisy Craft will show you simple pottery techniques to create a functional mug to your own shape and design. We will be taking a big lump of clay to handbuild the perfect mug using the pinch pot and coil methods. We will take our time to make the perfect addition to your mug collection.

Once we have made them you will be given the opportunity to add any underglaze colour details before Nat takes them home to completely dry and to be fired in Nat's kiln. The mugs will then be ready for collection from the Gallery approximately 2 weeks later. Nat will bring examples of what can be made and you are welcome to bring along any ideas or sketches you may have. Or just come along and see what creativity inspires you on the day!

No previous experience is required. This workshop is suitable for over 16 years.

 

We'd recommend for you to bring an apron if you wish, but clay doesn’t stain.
