Here at The Craft Centre & Design Gallery we welcome submissions from UK based designer makers producing handmade pieces. As we are a selling gallery it can be a very busy environment and so we are unable to offer one-to-one meetings with individual designers. Instead, we ask that you submit information about your work via email so we are able to consider the collection thoroughly. We select work with specific exhibitions in mind. In addition we also choose collections to support these shows.
The Craft Centre and Design Gallery acts as an agent for designers and so takes work on a sale or return basis. We tend to take work for display for a minimum period of 3 months and then review the collection; determining if the work stays for a longer period or if it is returned to the designer.
The gallery represents those who have set up in business pursuing their specific discipline. We are also happy to represent new designer makers including graduates; but it is essential that they let us know of their current set-up so we are able to determine if they are ready to work with a gallery.
Before you approach us, you may find it useful to familiarise yourself with the type of work we promote; do you think your work is appropriate? This may be through visiting the gallery itself or looking at our website and social media accounts. You can expect to hear from us within 2 weeks after we receive your information.
We're happy to hear from you if you're working in the following craft disciplines:

Jewellery
Ceramics
Glass
Limited edition prints
Wood
Textiles
Mixed media
The best way to send your submission is to email us.
